What you get in four weeks

The ability to build apps on your own.

Turn a problem into a product

Work out what to build and which features actually matter.

Design how an app is put together

Know the parts of the product and how they fit together before you start.

Build alongside AI

Brief the AI properly, break big work into steps and keep control of the result.

Understand what is going on inside

Do more than hit generate: find your way around what you built and follow its logic.

Find and fix problems

See why something stopped working, track down the cause and fix it with AI.

Ship apps

Turn a project on your laptop into a live service anyone can open in a browser.

Keep the product growing

Add features and change what is there without starting from scratch each time.

Build an app you'll actually use

Built for a real task in your work or business.

You arrive with a problem. You leave with a product.

You build several apps during the course. The final one is your own.

  • For yourselfA tool that takes routine work off your hands.
  • For your businessAn internal service for your team or your clients.
  • For a clientAn app that solves one specific client problem.
  • Your own productThe first working version of your product idea.

By the end of the course your project is live and usable.

Four weeks.

Week 01

How it all works. Your first product.

You'll learn:

  • the main parts a modern app is made of;
  • where your app lives and what happens when someone opens it;
  • where an app keeps its data;
  • how the parts of an app pass data to each other;
  • how a project is laid out on your computer;
  • how to work with the tools developers use;
  • how AI builds and changes your app;
  • how to save versions of your work safely.
End of the week Your first app is live on the internet.
Week 02

An app that handles users and data

Now the product starts to look like a real service. You'll learn to:

  • store and update data;
  • build apps people can log into with their own account;
  • show different data to different users;
  • pull data from other services;
  • plug ready-made external features into your app;
  • give AI harder tasks and stay in control of the changes.
End of the week A second, more capable app is live and running.
Week 03

Bigger, sturdier products

Now you learn to direct the work, not just collect output from AI.

  • break a large product into separate parts;
  • build features one at a time instead of asking AI for everything at once;
  • check that a new change has not broken what already worked;
  • roll back to the last version that worked;
  • read error messages;
  • find the cause instead of repeating “try to fix it”;
  • test the product before launch;
  • recognise the basic security risks.
What is debugging?

Working out why something is broken, then fixing it. You'll learn to do this with AI in a systematic way, not by guessing.

End of the week You can get most of the way from idea to launch on your own.
Week 04

Your product

Now you take your own idea instead of a practice task. With your teacher, you:

  • define the problem;
  • decide what the app has to do;
  • work out how it will be built;
  • split the work into stages;
  • build the product with AI;
  • find and fix the bugs;
  • test that it works;
  • launch the app;
  • start using it;
  • make the first improvements.
End of the course Your own working product.

You don't just watch. You build.

Short video lessons

The groundwork comes before class.

Live sessions

You build alongside the teacher.

A new product every week

From idea to launch.

Feedback

Questions, mistakes and a review of your decisions.

Your own final project

Your teacher is a developer. Not an AI operator.

  • Requirements, estimates, stack choice, development, release, support

Never written code? That's fine.

  • No idea how an app is put together?We'll walk you through it.
  • Never used a developer's tools?We'll show you.
  • Not sure where an app lives once it is built?We'll explain.
  • Never put anything online?We'll do it together.

We start from zero.

But we're not turning you into a programmer. We teach you to build things that work.

More than one finished product

A product

Your app runs and is ready to use.

A skill

You know how to take the next app from idea to launch.

Understanding

You understand what the AI is doing and what is happening to your product.

Independence

You can build and grow your own tools without hiring a developer for every idea.

Build your first product with AI

  • 4 weeksA cohort with a fixed start and finish. Not a course you put off for six months.
  • 4 productsEvery week you go the whole way from idea to launch. By the end you have four cycles behind you, not one.
  • Live online sessionsWe build products live. Interrupt and ask as we go.
  • Small groupThe teacher sees everyone. Your project gets reviewed one on one, not in a queue.
  • Group momentumYou're not building alone. You see how other people solve things and where they get stuck, and that speeds you up.
  • Your own final projectThe last week isn't an exercise. It's a tool for your own work.
  • Recordings of every sessionMissed a class or want to redo a step? Go back to the recording any time.
  • A developer on handWhen something won't run, there's someone beside you who writes code for a living, not just explains it.
Starts: Monday 28 September
€250 €290
Early bird: this price holds until a week before the start, then it goes up

This is the final price. No coding experience needed.

Common questions

Do I really not need to know how to code?

No. We start with the basics.

What exactly will I build?

The curriculum sets the first projects. You choose the last one yourself: for your work, your business, a client or your own idea.

What if my idea is too big?

Your teacher will help you carve out a first version you can actually build and launch during the course.

Will I touch code at all?

AI will do a large share of the coding. But you'll learn to read the project structure, control what the AI does and work through problems.

What do I do if the app stops working?

There's a whole part of the course on finding the cause and fixing it with AI.

Which AI tools will we use?

Current AI development tools, chosen by the teacher for the cohort.

Do I keep what I build?

Yes. The project and the code are yours.

Will there be recordings?

Yes. Every main session is recorded.
